The School
Resource Officer program places law
enforcement officers in schools with the
goal of creating and maintaining safe,
secure, & orderly learning environments for
students, teachers, & staff. The SRO program
reflects a community's desire to ensure that
it's schools are safe. By working closely
with school administrations SROs represent a
proactive strategy designed to bring
prevention & intervention into the schools.
