Henry County Administrative
 Sheriff:
Monte Belew is responsible for all parts of
the Sheriffs Office. He oversees day
to day operations. A Sheriff in the
State of Tennessee is elected to a 4 year
term by the people living in the county.
Sheriff Belew is a very active Sheriff and
has started many programs since taking
office. Some of which are School
Resource Officers SRO (3 full time officers
and 1 part time officer), Neighborhood
Watch, Motorcycle Officers, Video
Arraignment, GED Program, Metro Crime Unit,
DARE Program, Top Ten Most Wanted, and the
Jail Garden, to name a few.
 Chief
Deputy: Randy Gean is the under
Sheriff and assumes all responsibilities of
the Sheriff in his absence.
 Budget
Director: Patricia Byars oversees
spending and budget related issues.
 Administrative SGT: James E.
Crosser is the Department Training Officer
and oversees patrol vehicles.
 Clerks:
Jill Thompson and Melissa Allen handles
all paperwork associated with the Sheriffs
