Representatives
from FEMA inspect a major culvert wash out
on Gilkey Rd in south central Henry County
caused by flash flooding April 30- May 18. Emergency Management and
Highway Dept employees meet with FEMA
officials on June 7, 2010 and reported
$192,400 in damages to county roads and to
the local railroad authority. A site
inspection followed the meeting.
Barham and Pettijohn Creek Rd were also
inspected. Pettijohn Creek is now open,
Gilkey, Barham, and Holly Fork Bottom remain
closed.
Severe
Weather/Flood Event April 30-May 18
Three Roads
Continue to Remain Closed in Henry County due to
flash flood washouts. Gilkey, Barham,
Holly Fork Bottom.
